Job Title: Drilling Consultant
Halliburton-Landmark is looking for a Drilling Consultant located in Accra, Ghana to provide technical support to international oil and gas companies and Government entities.
This is a varied and exciting senior-level role with plenty of scopes. You will provide thought leadership and guidance to your clients regarding all proposed software and services. You will develop an understanding of the client’s system environments; assist in optimizing their workflows and make recommendations to new, existing, and potential clients.
The main technical focus will be on providing application and workflow support as well as systems management of the Landmark drilling portfolio to the global D&C community. Well Planning and Design, well data management, Survey data management, release management, and aiding with EDT and drilling workflows will also be a key responsibility. The job also involves mentoring, training delivery, presenting, product demonstrations and webinars, and planning and delivering software evaluations.
The candidate should have a problem-solving aptitude, an analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and be driven to deliver high standards in a customer-focused role. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to manage themselves under minimal supervision.
The individual requires experience working with drilling software for drilling program creation, Real-time data analysis, and benchmarking.
Knowledge of the Landmark drilling and completion software would be advantageous.
This role also requires a considerable amount of travel within Sub Sahara African countries.
