This is a customer-facing sales role to grow Emerson’s industry leading Digital Transformation Portfolio Business. Plantweb Digital Ecosystem from Emerson is the Industry’s Broadest Integrated Portfolio of Digital Transformation Solutions that Enables Top Quartile Performance.
The incumbent will own the Digital Transformation Sales Goals for the territory covering Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and Ghana. The role involves working closely with and gain commitment of the sales team to achieve Digital Transformation financial goals. It includes supporting the business with financial data and organizing Digital Transformation Promotional activities. Apart from product knowledge and superior selling skills, the incumbent should have strong collaboration and motivational skills to get the mindshare of the sales team and Account Leaders.
Your sphere of influence may also include, but may not be limited to:
- Driving Digital Transformation adoption and growth
- Owning and meeting Digital Transformation orders target
- Gaining commitment from Regional Sales Leaders, Strategic Account Leaders, Site Team Leaders, Sales Teams and LBP’s to implement Digital Transformation initiatives and financial goal targets
- Proactively promoting Digital Transformation at customer sites, leading from the front
- Developing a regional Digital Transformation business plan, working closely with the regional sales team and LBP’s
- Supporting customers and the sales teams with subject matter expertise
- Organising customer events and seminars to promote Digital Transformation
- Managing Digital Transformation projects list and sales funnel to support the Emerson financial processes / new Digital Transformation products / application launches into the region
- Tracking and maintaining wireless country approvals for the region
- Tracking and maintaining a list of Digital Transformation solutions installations
- Supporting he Project Pursuit team in positioning Digital Transformation during all phases of the project
- Providing and facilitating training to the local sales teams and business partners
- Recognising and accepting HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emerson’s Company Procedures
To succeed, you’ll need to demonstrate:
- Qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience in industry
- Must have solid selling experience preferably with relationships in the Oil & Gas vertical
- Experience related to Digital Transformation in the engineering industry
