• Reporting to the CEO, the role holder will be responsible for the management of the entire sales department and overseeing all sales-related activities.
• The role holder will be overseeing the day-to-day creation of sales strategies and ensure the most efficient implementation and adaption of upcoming group sales strategy.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to deliver growth in accordance with the local and international strategic plans in liaison with the CEO and Emerging Markets Chief Sales Officer
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop the marketing plans and establish the special tests sales strategy
• Implement national sales programme by developing field sales action plans to keep the company competitive and innovative and monitor effectiveness
• Monitor and drive the delivery of revenue targets for the company and set key performance indicators for all Regional Sales Managers and Supervisors in line with budget and agreed marketing plans
• Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
• Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and area of proposed client base expansion to management and Group CSO
• Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identify
• Perform any additional duties that may be assigned from time to time

Educational Requirements & Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelors degree or its equivalent in a related field
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Healthcare industry knowledge on trends the influences for our customer base
• In-depth understanding of the full range of laboratory products and services or willing to learn
• In-depth understanding of laboratory industry, operating structures and interface with other medical facilities and regulatory agencies or willing to learn
• A good understanding of online sales and marketing practices and executions
• Good understanding and use of Teleconferencing methods and tools
• Proficient in the use of MS product especially MS Excel,PowerPoint, and Word
• Must have great interpersonal and relationship skills and ability to coach and develop a team of professionals in their respective areas
• Ability to develop a budget, monitor budget performance and review
• Strong business and financial acumen, ability to manage contracts, solutions, develop and manage budgets and sales targets
• Demonstrates superior time management skills and meeting sales deadlines
• Strong people management and people development capabilities
• Strategies thinking with a strong business acumen
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to provide superior customer service
