Responsible for the architecture, development and management of scalable and commercially viable ICT/Converged IoT solutions that address the needs of MTN Ghana’s SME, Corporate and Public Sector customers.

Key Tasks
IoT Solution Architecture & Design
•Architect and develop end-to-end ICT/IoT solution propositions covering device connectivity, edge computing, data ingestion and platform integration.
•Translate customer requirements into scalable and commercially viable IoT solutions.
•Conduct technical feasibility studies and RFP/RFQ responses, including device architecture sizing, connectivity design, platform selection and commercial modelling.
•Provide functional and technical expertise in sensor and device integration, communication protocols, edge-to-cloud data pipelines and IoT application architecture.
•Ensure solution architecture provides optimal cost-value balance and aligns with security standards and MTN Group architectural guidelines.
Product Lifecycle & Go-to-Market
•Maintain the IoT and Converged Services product roadmap from concept and business case through launch, in-life management and rationalization.
•Support end-to-end development and launch of IoT products and solutions.
•Drive revenue growth, market penetration and continuous improvement of IoT propositions.
Innovation & Ecosystem Partnerships
•Identify and develop innovative IoT use cases in partnership with ecosystem vendors and OEMs.
•Co-create IoT solutions for key sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, utilities, logistics, oil and gas, and smart cities.
Sales Enablement & Customer Engagement
•Deliver product and technology briefings to Sales, Client Success and Marketing teams.
•Equip commercial teams with the technical knowledge required to position and sell IoT solutions.
•Provide technical expertise to support customer engagements and IoT solution propositions.
Solution Delivery & Support
•Support the delivery of IoT solutions from concept through implementation and post-implementation support.
•Coordinate with relevant technical, commercial and ecosystem stakeholders to ensure effective solution delivery.
Qualification Required & Experience
Education:
•First degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline.
•Relevant professional certification required: AWS IoT Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Azure IoT Developer Specialty Architect, with a minimum of one active certification.
•Additional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation or equivalent will be advantageous.
Experience:
•Minimum three (3) years of total experience in ICT/IoT solutions, enterprise technology or a related technical field.
•Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory role.
Professional/Technical Competencies:
•IoT solution architecture covering device connectivity, edge computing, data ingestion and platform integration.
•Sensor and device integration, communication protocols, edge-to-cloud data pipelines and IoT application architecture.
•Technical feasibility studies, RFP/RFQ responses, solution sizing and commercial modelling.
•IoT product lifecycle management and go-to-market frameworks.
•Enterprise B2B sales cycles, solution selling, tender processes and contract structures.
•Competitive and market intelligence, including IoT platforms, 5G NTN, LPWAN and emerging technology trends.
